Etna Cemetery Veterans Memorial

American Legion Perry Harris Post 260 dedicated the Etna Cemetery Veterans Memorial to the men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America in 2006. A World War I plaque, presented by the Class of 1917, serves as a memorial to the alumni and former students who participated in the war and is dedicated to peace and national service, naming Millard Barnum, Eugene C. Golden, Roger C. Boulton, John W. Golden, Albert Bradley, Earl Harris, James Brown, William Harris, Leon Bryan, John Holgate, Harry Burcell, Emma M. Isaacs, Oliver Cory, Orion Lewis, James Davis, Donald Parker, Cory Denny, Alex Ritz, Homer Denny, Ormand Smith, Wirt E. Eller, William Smith, Millard Estes, Bernard Walker, Robert Finley, Clifton Walker, Joe Freshour, Cifford Wilson, Kelsie Glendenning, and Winnifred Wolford. A World War II plaque honors the heroic dead Raymond C. Marx, Robert W. Jacobi, and Bernard C. Tucker, remembers their supreme sacrifice for the peace of the world, and dedicates trees in their memory by the Etna Woman's Club.
