For 150 years, the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers and its four Member Societies have served diverse engineering professions within the mining, metallurgical, and petroleum industries. Founded in Wilkes-Barre, PA, in 1871, AIME represents nearly 200,000 engineers worldwide and shares a united heritage of service.
