LaPrairie or St. Philomena Cemetery was the first Catholic cemetery of Sandusky County and held the graves of known and unknown people buried there, including members of the Bisnett, Bisnette, Bissonnette, Couseno, Crosby, Darr, Darval, Darvalvo, DeMars, Doyen, Druyor, Gonya, Gossard, Hopfinger, LaPoint, Meachem, Pete, Porvoneha, Poski, Prevnchu, Quisno, Reineck, Swill, Wagner, Wagoner, Yatzer, and Yetzer families, with burials spanning from Gregory Gonya, born in 1730 and died in 1808, to later nineteenth-century burials.
