From the Danish congregation at Diamond Lake, Minnesota, 23 people served in World War One, including Niels Have, who was born in Denmark on Feb. 7, 1881, and was killed in France on Mar. 30, 1918. In grateful remembrance, honor was given to those who fought and to the one who fell for the freedom of the world.
