The site includes interpretive stations reached by driving or walking, with map symbols marking roadways, earthen walls, an interior ditch, stone mounds, and a creek. Nearly two miles of hiking trails cross the site's 764 acres, where visitors can enjoy plentiful plant and animal life, including the Stone Circle Trail, Mound Trail, Earthworks Trail, Terrace Trail, and Connector Trail. Other points of interest include Crescent Mound, stone pavements, several stone mounds, East Gateway elevated platform, a Hopewell living area, twin mounds, parallel walls, stone circles, crescent mounds, Great Gateway, Fort Ancient Culture Cemetery, Fort Ancient Culture Village, and the North and South overlooks.
