Hopewell Culture National Historical Park offers prehistoric artifacts excavated from Mound City in the museum, including two thousand year old American art regarded as a national treasure, along with touch screen exhibits and computer generated images of lost earthworks that explore the mysterious Hopewell Culture. Visitors can walk through Mound City, a two thousand year old sacred ceremonial and burial ground of prehistoric American Indians, watch Legacy of the Mound Builders, a seventeen minute introductory video, and travel to other prehistoric earthwork sites in the park, including Hopewell Mound Group and Seip Earthworks.
