Delmont's World War Memorial was erected in 1919 by the citizens of Delmont and vicinity in honor of their soldiers, sailors, and marines who served in the World War. It remembers John Kurtz, Sept. 18, 1918; Michael Laib, Oct. 12, 1918; Jos. H. Breitbach, Oct. 14, 1918; Earl E. Berry, Oct. 15, 1918; August Bremer, Oct. 15, 1918; Howard T. Huey, Nov. 1, 1918; and Reinhold Albrecht, and it is dedicated to veterans of World War II.
