The City of Mentor and George E. Hayward V.F.W. Post 9295 dedicated this tribute to those who gallantly served the country and to those currently serving in the Armed Forces. The American flag flies above the POW/MIA flag, which remembers military prisoners of war and pays homage to those missing in action. The military flags of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard honor all veterans. It was dedicated on 9-24-2006.
