Dry Lakes Plateau is an archaeological historic district in the Bodie Hills of Mono County, California, spanning 3,340 acres and containing 65 archaeological sites. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, it is significant for its potential to yield important information through future research. Its importance rests not only on the sites already identified across this protected landscape, but also on what continued study may yet uncover about the area’s past.
