Shriver Covered Bridge is a historic wooden bridge in Center Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, built in 1900 to carry a rural road over Harqus Creek on a 40-foot Queenpost truss. Its timber construction and tin-covered gable roof reflect a practical local tradition that protected the truss from weather. By October 1978, only nine historic covered bridges still stood in Greene County, showing how rare such structures had become. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the bridge remains part of Pennsylvania’s covered-bridge heritage, valued for its simple engineering and its tie to the rural landscape it served.
