At 21 North Main, a building that later housed Victorian Lane was home over the years to businesses including Elk Pharmacy, Cowboy Collectibles, Little Indian Curio, a shoe repair shop, a carpet store, a fly fishing shop, and a book store, before summer resident and local artist Becky Whitney opened Victorian Lane there in 2007. The Security Title building to the left once housed a bakery, and the First State Bank of Salina opened a Panguitch branch there in the summer of 1955; a list honoring servicemen from Panguitch was mounted on a wall in this area. At the northwest corner of Center and Main Street, the W.C. Tebbs store, or "Little Eck," operated as the Southern Exchange in the 1930s, and later the Texaco Service Station stood there; a realty office and a clothing store also occupied the current building before it became a restaurant. At 33 North Main, the building that later housed Rumours Salon first served as a grocery store with fresh meats, then several restaurants; by 1964, during Panguitch's Centennial Celebration, Orton Café had moved there from 63 North Main Street and served hamburgers in a basket while offering punch boards and a juke box selection at each booth. In the 1970s the building was the Wander-In Café, and at another time it was a Mexican restaurant; the State Liquor Store occupied the space before moving to 48 North Main Street in 1996, and Rumours Salon opened soon after to provide beauty services and supplies in Panguitch.
