Abajo Peak is the highest summit in the Abajo Mountains of southeastern Utah, within the Manti-La Sal National Forest. About seven miles southwest of Monticello and twenty-three miles west of the Colorado border, it stands as a prominent high point in the Abajo Range. Several communication towers mark its summit. The peak remains important both as the highest point in the range and as a visible landmark rising above the surrounding country.
