Menke Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Iowa operated by Saint Ambrose University, on the southern bank of the Wapsipinicon River northwest of Dixon. Named for Monsignor Sebastian Menke, a former university president, it reflects his connection to the institution. The observatory moved to its present site in 1994 and has continued to serve as the university’s observatory there.
