Schooling in Ransomville was conducted in McCracken's log cabin in 1825, in Frederick's house in 1837, in a two-room academy from 1856 to 1900, at Rural #6 from 1900 to 1939, and at Route 93 with the W.H. Stevenson cornerstone in 1939.
