Men and women of this community served in the Armed Forces of the United States in World War II, the Korean War, World War I, and Vietnam. In gratitude, the community dedicated a panel for those who served in World War II in 1946, and American Legion Post 81 dedicated a panel for those who served in the Korean War in 2009, with similar plaques for veterans of World War I and Vietnam.
