This memorial is dedicated to those who served in the armed forces in the wars of the nation and in perpetual memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice in “Freedom’s Cause.” It was erected in 1961 by Edgewater Post No. 285 of The American Legion with the motto “For God and Country.”
