Winfield Cemetery honors those buried there who served in the armed forces, expressing gratitude for their service and for freedom, and naming veterans of the Confederate service, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Spanish-American War, and other U.S. military branches including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Naval Reserve, and Army Air Forces.
