The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord, New Hampshire, is a science museum and educational hub focused on space, aviation, astronomy, and Earth science. Dedicated to Christa McAuliffe and Alan Shepard, it began in 1990 as the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium, became a memorial to Shepard in 2001, and was expanded and renamed in 2009. The enlarged facility includes a digital planetarium, observatory, interactive exhibits, and collections on aviation, spaceflight, planetary science, and lunar exploration, along with some science-fiction artifacts. It also supports public astronomy, student programs, educator resources, and other learning activities across New Hampshire.
