Founded in 1992 in Niantic, Connecticut, this interactive nonprofit museum was created to help children explore the arts, sciences, health, and different cultures through hands-on, play-based learning. Occupying about 5,000 square feet, it features a Discovery Room centered on science activities and resident animals, and an Imagination Room built around role-play settings such as a fire engine, fishing boat, global market, toy garden, and toddler area. Its outdoor playspace adds a retro treehouse, music garden, dig pit, playhouse, and child-sized zipline. It remains a distinctive family-oriented educational and cultural attraction in Niantic.
