Mooween State Park in Lebanon, Connecticut is a 577-acre public recreation area centered on 127-acre Red Cedar Lake, with opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and boating. The property had earlier served as a boys' summer camp from 1921 to 1960. Connecticut purchased the land in 1989 and initially named it Red Cedar Lake State Park. In 2000, it was renamed Mooween to honor the site's camp history, linking the present-day park to an earlier chapter in the use of the lake and surrounding land.
