Mount Campbell is an isolated summit in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Fresno County, California, positioned near the middle of surrounding valley and foothill communities such as Reedley, Sanger, Piedra, Parlier, and Orange Cove. California State Route 180 runs between the mountain and the rest of the foothills on the route toward Kings Canyon National Park, so it becomes one of the first prominent peaks seen when traveling east. The mountain is especially recognizable for two large hillside letters, an R on its southern face for Reedley and an S on its western face for Sanger, which have made it a local visual landmark.
