Patriot Park in Emanuel County is dedicated to the patriotic memory of American Revolutionary soldiers buried in the county, including Wilson Drew, Jacob Durden, David Edenfield, Ephriam Herrington, James Moore, Joseph Sumner, and Reuben Thompson, and it also honors Emanuel County's Civil War soldiers of 1861 to 1865, including the Emanuel Rangers, Ben Hill Guards, Rough and Ready Guard, Brown Guards, and McLeod Volunteers.
