This twenty-three acre pond and facility was constructed in 1996 by the West Fulton Rod and Gun Club in cooperation with the New York State Environmental Conservation Department. It is located on the site of a circa 1840 mill pond that provided water to power a grist mill a short distance downstream from the present dike. The stones supporting this structure were removed from the original mill dam and placed here by club members to honor the families who first settled Rossman Hill in the early 1800's. The pond facility is offered to all who enjoy the outdoors.
