Laid out in the late 1700s on acreage donated by the Ogles, this elevated cemetery overlooks lands settled by pioneers including the Piggotts, Ogles, Biggs, Wilsons, and others. It was named for a French-Canadian family and preserves the memory of those buried there, including early pioneers and patriots of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, and other succeeding wars of the United States.
