The first board of trustees of Central Mennonite College consisted of J.A. Amstutz, president of the board, J.E. Lehman, H.J. Krehbiel, J.H. Tschantz, J.W. Leatherman, Gerhard Yogt, P.O. Suter, J.C. Mehl, and P.E. Stucky. The institution was reorganized as Bluffton College in A.D. 1914.
