Julice is a 9-foot-tall mound measuring 130 by 65 feet at the base. It is rectangular with a flat top, though it was originally square before the east side was altered for the highway. Pottery found near the mound suggests Indians built it around AD 1400. A historic cemetery on and around the mound has helped preserve it.
