The people of Warren County, Missouri, honored the women and men who have served or will serve in the service of the United States, declaring that the nation’s debt to its heroic men and valiant women can never be repaid and that America will never forget their sacrifices. President Harry Truman’s words of undying gratitude accompanied a roll of service members from the county, including those who served in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan in the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Army Air Forces.
