Barronvale Bridge, also known as Barron’s Mill Bridge, is a historic covered road bridge in Middlecreek Township, Pennsylvania, that crosses Laurel Hill Creek. Built in 1902 as a Burr truss span, it is one of only 10 covered bridges that survive in Somerset County. Measuring 162 feet 3 inches long and 13 feet 10 inches wide, it is the county’s longest remaining covered bridge. Its importance rests in both its unusual size and its preservation of a form of rural bridge-building that was once common across Pennsylvania.
