Across five Pennsylvania counties, the Delaware and Lehigh Corridor combines heritage and outdoor adventure along the D&L Trail, a historic pathway shaped by the stories of lumberjacks, coal miners, lock tenders, and railroaders. Its history can be explored at the National Canal Museum or along canal paths, bike trails, and the waters of the river. The region has four seasons, and temperatures can vary by 10 degrees from one end of the Corridor to the other on a given day, with harsher winters in the two mountainous northern counties, Luzerne and Carbon, than in the southernmost county, Bucks.
