Those who did not return included Pvt. Philo Paul of Co. D, 140th Pa. Vol., killed at Spottsylvania in 1864; Pvt. John Smith of Co. B, 85th Pa. Vol., who died of fever at Fair Oaks in 1862; Pvt. Abe Jams of Co. B, 85th Pa. Vol., mortally wounded at Fair Oaks in 1862; Howard Paul, G/M, USSS Colombia, lost at sea in 1918; Pvt. Henry Guy Fetherlin of Co. G, 319th Inf., killed in action in France in 1918; Pvt. Albert M. Bigler of Co. B, 377th Inf., killed at Velletri, Italy, in 1944; and M/Sgt. Harold D. Donahoo of 5th Cav., missing in action in Korea in 1950.
