Big Spring Creek Falls is a three-tiered waterfall on Big Spring Creek in Washington, fed by water from high on Mount Adams. Dropping forty-nine feet in all, including a main plunge of twenty-five feet, it descends through a dark forest of mosses and ferns. Visible from Forest Route 23, it has become a popular stop for travelers moving between Trout Lake or the Lewis River and destinations such as Takhlakh Lake and the Midway High Lakes Area. Managed by Gifford Pinchot National Forest, the falls are valued both as a roadside scenic attraction and as part of the larger Mount Adams landscape.
