The Jersey Lily Saloon, associated with the "Law West of the Pecos" courtroom, was named for Judge Bean's idol, actress Lillie Langtry. The site was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1965. The land was donated by the Southern Pacific Railroad, and the "Jersey Lilly" building was donated by Mrs. Laura A. Babb to the State of Texas.
