Potholes State Park is a public recreation area on the southern shore of Potholes Reservoir in central Washington, about 13 miles south of Moses Lake and 13 miles northwest of Othello. It was established after the completion of O'Sullivan Dam in 1949, which created the reservoir. Today the park covers 773 acres and includes about 6,000 feet of shoreline, with facilities for camping, hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, and other water activities. It serves as a base for exploring the reservoir and the surrounding desert landscape.
