County commissioners authorized this one-arch stone bridge on November 10, 1874. The contract for $550 was awarded to John Martin on December 3. Martin was paid $250 on February 2, 1875, and the finished bridge was inspected and accepted on April 14. He then received a final installment of $268.49.
