Families and friends of Winter Springs dedicated this memorial to all veterans who have served to protect the country. It calls on visitors to reflect on veterans' sacrifices, honor their courage, and more fully appreciate the freedom enjoyed through their service. Those who gave the ultimate sacrifice are marked with a heart. The effort was a community partnership of the Rotary Club of Winter Springs and the City of Winter Springs.
