Built as a 20 room hotel, this building housed military personnel during World War II, including comedian Red Skelten. It was later merged with the Dodge Brothers Dealership, and after considerable structural changes it became Sheffield Furniture Store and then Schewel's Furniture before being restored to its original state by the Friends of Blackstone and operated as the Blackstone Antiques & Craft Mall. It is listed by the United States Department of the Interior National Park Service as a contributing structure on the National Register of Historic Places.
