In Ellis, Kansas, the Bukovina Society Headquarters and Museum preserves the history and heritage of Bukovina German immigrants and serves as the headquarters of the Bukovina Society of the Americas. Housed in the former First Congregational Church, it reflects the town where many Bukovina Germans settled after arriving in 1886. In 1992, the community established the museum to preserve artifacts, memory, and the story of migration and life in Kansas.
