Valley Falls honored those who served in World War I and World War II with honor rolls naming the dead, the wounded, and those who served. For the First World War, it recorded John S. Madigan as killed in action, Frank Lewis as died in service, and listed the wounded and others who served, with the tribute erected by the War Chest Association of Valley Falls in honor of those who served in the world war from 1914 to 1918. For the Second World War, it called on people to remember those who in their time gave the gift of liberty and to honor them by defending that gift from tyranny, naming Chester Carknard, Lieutenant Edward Donnelly, Kenneth Gifford, Leo Rospo, Charles Rifenburgh, Kenneth Speanburg, and John Taylor among those killed in action, John White among those who died in service, and many other Valley Falls men and women on the honor roll.
