The Rush County Historical Society included Roy Ehly as president, Oliver Wilhelm as vice president, Harry Grass as secretary, and Stan Merrill as treasurer. The Post Rock Museum was inspired by Bill Appel in 1962 as a means of preserving for future generations the heritage of post rock history, architecture, and landscape.
