Gristmill Stone Recovered from the Little Embarras River

A gristmill stone was recovered from the Little Embarras River south of Oakland about 1936. The mill was in use about 1850. The stone was donated to the City of Oakland by the Curtis family in memory of Walter A. and Georgia (Swinford) Curtis.
