Mendham Township honors those from the community who gave their lives in the country's world wars, including Richard I. East, Hugh P. Easteurn III, Robert A. Ferguson, Frank A. Karwell, James W. Maw, J.H. Miller, and Francis L. Winston, and expresses gratitude to those who served. It also remembers those lost in the Vietnam Conflict: John T. Glanville, Jr., LSDR USN, born March 18, 1934, died June 14, 1969, and CPL Robert Bruce Tufts, born December 22, 1942, died June 14, 1969.
