Ralph Blane Hunsecker was born in Broken Arrow on July 26, 1914. He became famous under the name Ralph Blane as a songwriter, NBC vocalist, arranger, and actor for stage and screen in New York and Hollywood. He wrote more than 700 songs for movies and Broadway and received numerous awards for his music. He died in Broken Arrow in 1995.
