Roosevelt Park is Minot, North Dakota’s largest park, stretching along the Souris River between Eastwood Estates and the separately managed Roosevelt Park Zoo. Named for President Theodore Roosevelt and centered on a large statue honoring that connection, it serves as a major public recreation space. Its grounds support both active and casual use, with hiking and biking trails, tennis courts, a skate park, a swimming pool and water slide, a band shelter, and picnic shelters. The park also features the Magic City Express, a two-fifths-scale passenger train, adding a distinctive attraction to one of the city’s best-known public spaces.
