This memorial is dedicated to all military veterans from this area who served during the American Civil War and the Spanish American War. It is located in Greenwood Cemetery and was moved there in 2021 by Col. Friedrich K. Hecker Camp #443, Sons of Union Veterans Civil War Department of Illinois, S.U.V.C.W., and the City of Fairview Heights.
