Nakoma

Nakoma, originally the site of a Ho-Chunk village, was surveyed by the government in 1834, and in 1915 the Madison Realty Company platted five farms for housing development. The Nakoma neighborhood was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior on February 26, 1998.
