The Stone Wind Mill was built in 1825 at Morristown, New York, by Hugh Mc Connell, a miller from Scotland. The windmill property was given to the village of Morristown on July 24, 1943, by Laura S. Chapman and Charles S. Chapman, N.A., a noted American artist.
