Illinois's 2nd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Illinois. It stretches south from Chicago's Kenwood community area through portions of the city's South Side and southern suburbs, extending into several more rural counties outside of Chicagoland. Nearly two-thirds of its residents live in densely populated Cook County.
