Lorenzo Deming, born Sept 6, 1843, joined the U.S. Navy, was captured at Plymouth N.C. during the destruction of the Rebel Iron Clad Albermarle on Nov 27, 1864, and died in Rebel Prison at Salisbury N.C. on Feb 5, 1865.
