Confederate soldiers from Dickson County, Tennessee served in the 11th Tennessee Infantry, companies C, E, H, and K; the 49th Tennessee Infantry, companies B and D; the 50th Tennessee Infantry, company A; the 10th Tennessee Cavalry; the 24th Tennessee Sharpshooters; Baxter’s Company, Tennessee Light Artillery; Baxter’s Battalion, Tennessee Light Artillery; and Ross’ Cavalry Brigade Company A during 1861-1865.
