The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas opened on April 1, 2023, as a 12,000-square-foot center for the history and culture of punk rock. Founded by Mike Burkett, known as Fat Mike of NOFX, and developed with Lisa Brownlee, it is governed by a collective that includes musicians and investors from the punk scene. Its collection holds more than 1,000 artifacts, including fliers, artwork, clothing, instruments, Devo helmet molds, and a photograph of Kurt Cobain displayed with the couch shown in the image. With musician-led tours, a bar, a jam room, a chapel, and space for unknown bands, it serves as both archive and community gathering place.
